I couldn't resist writing about the journey my husband and I took inspired by the research I was doing for a book. You can read it here on the We Said Go Travel blog.
I enjoyed reading your story. As I mentioned on the other blog, I used to live in Cleveland, so I'm quite familiar with the tow path trail. I really liked the section in Peninsula near Akron. Have you ever ridden the train that goes along it?
Sherry, yes I have ridden the train. I've done the Underground Railroad program (amazing!) where we end up as recaptured slaves being shipped back south and a wine and cheese ride. Very fun! It's great to find another towpath fan!
I love traveling for research. I'll have to pop over and have a look as soon as I recover from today's root canal!
